About Ellen Atkin Photography

Ellen Atkin spent the last 5 years shooting and producing aerial photographic art in Western Canada in the summer and shooting travel, lifestyle, and sports action in Mexico in the winter. She also shoots stock photography and is represented internationally by Firstlight.ca. Her work is sold all over the world through numerous affiliate agencies. She began shooting aerials in Pemberton, BC in 1997.

After a wonton life as a self made, self taught, self funded and self styled artist, she became an award winning advertising sales agent for a few years in the 00's to seal off her skill set. 

Now she specializes in Large Format Panorama display pieces. Fine art photography is no longer represented by a print behind glass with a white matte and a black frame.

Ellen sells over 100 custom photographic art pieces each year. She also sells a fair amount of photographs to the editorial and commercial markets. In addition, she works publicity and promotion in the health and wellness catagories. She has had several articles published in journals, blogs, ezines and newspapers, including The Agora National.
